Glad I found your blog, Vic. I’m going to try to send some folks here in reference to an article or two I’ve written on http://www.philfaqs.com about he higher elevation places in the Philippines.

Another good way to reach Bukidnon is via Davao City and then travel north out past the wonderful Philippine Eagle preserve and on of my favorite Philippine places yet, the gardens at Malagos.

My good friend Bob Martin from Davao City http://www.livinthephilippines.com visits Bukidnon frequently and has often 9nsisted I visit it nect time we go down Mindanao way … definitely going to try to include Bukidnon on the next southern journey.

Hi Vic-

My sister and I are planning on taking my grandmother for a “gals vacation” in August and staying at the Shangri la. I am choosing between 2 different rates — the first is a “suite only” rate and the other includes the suite + breakfast daily for each one of us. The difference in price is $91 per day. Does breakfast run more than $30 per person at the hotel? Any information you can provide would be much appreciated. Thank you.
